THE ALL-VOLUNTEER BOARD HAS BEEN BUSY WITH THE FOLLOWING:

• The scoreboard for the multi-purpose field is on target for the use with fall 2012 sports, including a “got milk?” logo naming gift from local and neighboring dairy farmers and businesses.

• Middle School dugouts are in the works, thanks to in-kind donations and a naming gift.

• A fitness trail is being coordinated with a larger community trail system that will connect Unity with Frye Mountain via Mt. View providing the potential for many physical activities.

• February and March were busy months finalizing fundraisers: The ATV raffle netted a profit over $4200 with a local winner, Mark Babin. Thanks to the district students, teachers and participating businesses, our annual coin drive was a success. Also Future MSAD 3 provided a fundraising buffet lunch for this year’s Unity town meeting.

Plans are progressing for the 2012 annual golf tournament at Brooks Country View Golf Club. Golfers save the date: Saturday, September 8.
