Future MSAD 3’s 7th Annual Coin Drive for the month of March netted over $600 from all the schools in the District, as well as a few participating businesses, friends, and neighbors.

In spite of or because of the hard economic times, pennies and loose change really count!  Students and their families, as well as friends and neighbors, rallied to the annual cause. Containers placed in local businesses also contributed to the fund-raising event.

Special appreciation goes to the following high-coin-count classrooms:

Mount View Elementary:  Grade K, O’Brien - $25.24; Grade 2, Castner - $18; Grade 3, Burgeois - $25.41; Grade 4, Dyer - $25.52

Mount View Middle School:  Grade 6, Chevot $109.38; Grade 7, Phillips - $28.24

Troy Elementary School:  Bosco - $16.33

Special recognition is also extended to Spanky’s in Unity for their collection of $39.05.
